In the same prime-location-on-the-way-to-the-bus-station premises as the short-lived Alchemy Wine Cafe, and even briefer stint as a Cafe Express branch, Cafe Vino opened in mid 2013. The opening hours are restricted: Mon-Fri only 8-4 in wintertime, and 8-6pm in "summer" (which seems to be a very short season).
The decor is a very muted cream/white/mirrored look, but the chef is serving up food that's flavoursome enough to make up for it, including one of the best Eggs Benedict's ever seen in Ireland.
