Sometime in January 2025, Bare Pantry Dominick Street stopped opening - with no announcements, signs or updates on social media.

A little later, signs went up saying that the cafe is re-opening soon as "City Pantry Cafe" - under new management.

The only remaining store from the Arabica cafe chain, this cafe in Galway's west is located in the historic Granary Hall - though from inside you'd be sure it's a modern building.

In June 2023, they rebranded to Bare Pantry - although the menu still refers to Arabica.

Good coffee, attentive service and interesting artwork make this a pleasant place for lunch, without the hassle and hustle of Shop St.   Open on Sundays, too, at least during the summer.
