This new franchisee-operated (Hession's) Londis convenience-store opened in the 2nd week of November 2025.
They're on the east side of Eyre Square between Galway Luggage Storage and Esquires cafe, in a very handy location for people catching city buses. This unit was home to a VHI insurance office a long time ago, but has been empty for some years. It's had a very thorough make-over, to bring it up to the standard expected by Londis. There is a small eat-in area, with a power point gor charging phones, at the back of the shop.
The shop is focussed as a food hall, so features, grab-and-go meal options, hot and cold deli / sandwich bar, coffee, juices and softdrinks. No newspapers, but they do have Lotto products, and fold-up umbrellas.
