Like all Irish clothing stores, Kembali had to close in late December 2020. They announced around about that time that they would re-open for a final sale when possible. The sale eventually started on 17 May, and the doors closed for the last time on 30 June 2021.
A family-run business, it started life as a market stall over 25 years ago in 1996. They made the move to a shop in Upper Abbeygate Street, and then into their final location in Abbey Court, just a few doors along the road.
The focus is on ethnic / alternative clothing, mainly from Thailand, with related body-jewellery and accessories.
