After winning a range of coffee awards (32nd best coffee shop in Europe, Brewers Cup Champion, European Coffee Trip Top 10 in Ireland), and opening for fewer and fewer hours each week, Kali announced on social media that they are closing on 28 August 2026.

This brave little cafe is at the top of Salthill village, in the former hairdresser, next to O'Connor's bakery.
They opened at the very start of January 2021, right in the middle of a pretty strict Level 5 lockdown. Despite this, there have been queues outside.
Their menu is a little different form most: you can have coffee (or not-coffee if tea is your thing), made with or without milk.
Lots of nice touches for dog-lovers and their canine companions, and some interesting decor too.
