It's located in the Corrib Court shopping centre, next to the AXA office and across from the main entrance to Decathlon (previously Debenhams). This unit was Park Jewellers for a long time, and since then has hosted several pop-up Christmas stores for local artist-collectives.
Created as a passion-project by Deirdre Burton Design and Blackthorn Candles, The Gift Edit aims to be "a little home for beautiful things made by small Irish businesses — thoughtful gifts, handmade pieces and special finds". It is described as a home for Irish makers.
