This passionate, local Galway city cafe opened in their new home in Woodquay on Monday 6 July 2026, after running in to issues with the space next to Fat Tony's in Liosbaun a few months ago. An in typical energetic style, the grand opening event was the following Saturday, and included an after-party in McGinns.
They're located at the very bottom of Eyre Street, in between McSwiggans and Taqulia Mexican Restaurant, in a shop that was home to Grafton Barbers until August 2024, and has been empty since then. This has been thoughtfully refurbished, and as well as the customer service area downstairs, there's a lovely eat-in area upstairs, which has great views of Woodquay. No outdoor seating.
The menu has three strands:
- Coffee, of course, with all the options you'd expect, no mad variations - and they list chai latte, hot chocolate and regular tea here too.
- Specialty matcha's and food - yes, they have three simple sandwich options, as well as some tasty pastries and Meltd cookies
- Breakfast bowls: choose acai, pitaya or mango and toppings from a very manageable list of options.
As well as great coffee, the cafe is also home to a run-club: spot fit the arms and legs on their logo!
