Update
A couple of weeks after opening, the pizza cabinet disappeared.
And a couple of weeks later, the coffee-bar
#JustStoppedOpening. No signs, no announcements on social
media. The lights are still on, and there were still drinks in the
fridge, but no sign of any food, or staff.
Then people have started leaving "stuff" on the counter - and by the end end of March the place was cleared out again.
Is that this a record for the shortest time from opening to closing for any Galway cafe? We're not sure!

This new coffee and pizza takeaway
cafe put a small
sign up on the 18th, and opened for business on Friday 20 February 2026.
They're located in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre, dowstairs opposite
Diesel Clothing, in the space that was most recently used by the Tiny Traders
market at Christmas, and before that was
Bia Boru cafe.
This time, its a strictly takeaway only operation, with no seating
available.
Products include coffee and pizza (whole, or by the slice) - as well as
smoothies acai bowls, smoothies, milkshakes, and a small range of pastries and
sweet treats.
