It is based in William Street West, in an unit that was most-recently
the WestWorks shared office space, and then a storeroom for the BlueNote (who
had hopes of turning it into a lounge).
The building has had a tasteful refit on the outside and out, and now
look like a professional workspace. And it's near some great
cafes including Espresso 44, Urban Grind and Plámás.
The concept is that this will be a client-meeting space for local Interior
Designer Lynne O'Loughlin - and a resource that other creatives can hire hourly or daily to work on design projects, host client meetings,
and deliver presentations - prices are clearly stated on their website.
Also, the aim is to organise and host community-focused design events and pop-ups which focus on sustainable design and local craft-skills, bring local talent and industry professionals together , and give opportunities for networking, presenting work, sharing creative ideas, and supporting Galway's creative community.
Local cafe / design-shop owner, Sinéad Curran, is the host, and coordinates
the space and the events.
