Dublin-based Kuma Bikes opened their first Galway city-centre retail shop in mid-July 2026, complementing their other shops in Dublin (Clonskeagh and Rathgar) and Cork.
They're located in Harbour House, Dock Road, right next door to TechStar unit that was Ritz hairdressers for a long time, then briefly a nail bar, but has been empty for several years.
An Irish owned eBike manufacturer, their products are based around their own-designed city-hybrids, low-steps, cargo-bikes and folding bikes, and accessories. The company also offer an insurance scheme, access to the cycle-to-work program, and a cycle-club.
Initial opening days / hours
Monday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm (workshop closed)
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 9am to 6pm
Wednesday 10am - 6pm
