Dublin-based Kuma Bikes opened their first Galway city-centre retail shop in mid-July 2026.
They're located in Harbour House, Dock Road, right next door to TechStar unit that was Ritz hairdressers for a long time, then briefly a nail bar, but has been empty for several years.
An Irish owned eBike manufacturer, their products are based around their own-designed city-hybrids, low-steps, cargo-bikes and folding bikes - and complementary accessories. The company also offer an insurance scheme, access to the cycle-to-work program, and a cycle-club.
Initial opening days / hours
Monday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm (workshop closed)
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 9am to 6pm
Wednesday 10am - 6pm
