Update: sadly, Cafe Mocha closed during 2012, and the premises turned into a dentists office. Definitely sadly missed.

This is a lovely spot, tucked in a friendly new suburb in the east of Galway city. Originally it was "Movies and Mocha", including a video / DVD library and internet cafe. More recently, the movies are gone and the cafe space has grown. The internet facilities are still there, though, complete with clocks showing the time in four different cities, and free wi-fi.
Very reasonable prices, parking at the door, and friendly helpful staff who know the neighbourhood and welcome regulars and visitors. Open from 9am - 6:30pm Mon to Sat, 12 noon - 6pm on Sunday, they also open by appointment in the evenings to accommodate local club meetings.
Usual range of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, soups breakfast and smoothies. Along with a note on the menu welcoming you to ask if you don't see what you want.
