Asia Central Market

This comprehensive Asian ethnic food-store (which may also have Habib's Barber Lounge upstairs) officially opened on Saturday 8 August 2026.

It's located in the Townparks complex, which is near the Travelodge Hotel on the Tuam Road, and home to the ever-popular Frends restaurant and the the also-recently-opened Phoenix Inks. Asia Central is right next-dolor to the Preloved Appliances Trading centre. The unit was previously Dino's Barber Lounge, and before that PB Gibbons Electrical. It's got all shelves, and narrow corridors, but is very well organised.

Aiming to be a one-stop shop for authentic Asian groceries, their products include a very wide range of pulses, grains, dried fruits, sauces and spices in sizes ranging from individual household to large-scale catering packs. They also have a fresh-meat halal butcher counter, and smaller ranges of non-alcoholic drinks, sweets, snack-foods and specialist fruits and vegetables.
