It's located beside the Blackrock Cottage restaurant and coffee-dock complex,
in a stand-alone, purpose-built unit which was granted
planning permission
during 2025. This is next to the existing public toilets and
bicycle-parking near Salthill diving tower, and can be accessed either from the cafe-side, or through a
new access-way from the main road (which is built, but not yet open).
Products and services at this stage are pretty simple: 50-minutes of time spent in a small hot sauna, with a great view of Galway Bay (through darkened glass, so people outside can't look in at you!) Book your time-slot on-line.
Initial opening days and hours
Seven days a week, until 10pm
From 7am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and from 10am other days.
