Joyces School bookstore

Joyces School Bookshop in Lower Dominick Street is not reopening after the the Covid-19 closedown:   the store has been cleared out, and the owners have posted a notice advising of their retirement and thanking their customers, staff, family-members, publishers and other suppliers.


HI ALL IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET WE INFORM YOU THAT WE HAVE DECIDED TO RETIRE AND TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE DOWN OUR BOOKSHOP AND WEBSITE HERE AT DOMINICK STREET GALWAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS, ESPECIALLY OUR CUSTOMERS, STAFF, PUBLISHERS, STATIONERY SUPPLIERS, COURIERS, NEIGHBOURS AND FRIENDS. WE ALSO WANT TO THANK OUR CHILDREN WHO PLAYED A HUGE PART IN OUR BUSINESS, AND ESPECIALLY MARIAN WHO MANAGED THE BUSINESS FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS. WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.
