Ciarlantini High Street

Update late July 2025

Suddenly closed, with no information for customers?

Renovations? During Race Week?

Originally
Woodquay's favourite Italian cafe, Ciarlantini, opened a branch in High
Street in late November 2020.

This city-centre cafe is in the building which was for many years Deacy's fish and vegetable shop - until the owner retired in mid 2019.   It was home to a pop-up shop run by The Old Sea Dog during Christmas 2019 and has since been extensively renovated throughout.

Originally a delicatessen (delizie), the coffee / sandwich / pastry side of Ciarlantini has grown, and they now serve seriously delicious coffee and a fascinating range of Italian sweet-treats.
