This store for adults / Adult Play Center (known by some locals as "Briefless Encounters"!) opened in mid September 2025.
It's located in Liosban Industrial Estate, near the Tuam Road entrance, in the unit next door to CPH Plant and Tool Hire. This was GalMac computers for many years, but has been vacant for some time. Externally, the glass has been frosted to provide for a more-private experience. Internally, more complex renovation and decoration has been carried out.
Describing itself as a premier play space for gay, bi and hetero singles, couples & groups, Brief Encounters aims to provide a discreet, welcoming, adult-only environment which is safe, comfortable and inclusive space and gives people the chance to relax, unwind, or explore new encounters
Facilities include two large screens with adult movies, private booths and a glory hole area, a dedicated sling room, group fun rooms, an on-site adult store, lockers,, and a comfortable lounge
Entrance is through the adult store, and initially costs €15 for an all day pass.
