After opening suburban cafes in unlikely locations during 2022, Scran launched a pop-up in Galway Coach Station at the start of 1 February 2023.
They're in the same cafe-corner which O'Heihrs had before the Covid-closedown, but have added an energetic orange decor which complements the busy vibe of this spot.
Hot drinks on offer include Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, tea, hot chocolate, mocha, single and double espresso, chai latte - with alternative milks and flavour shots available. But the snacks menu is more limited: initially pain au chocolat, croissant, donuts, rocky road, carrot cake chocolate bars and crisps.
So far it looks like they're sticking to daytime hours, when most coaches are coming and going.
There's no tables or dedicated seating, but there are plenty of bus-station seats avaiable.
