After weeks of marketing hype and free donut giveaways, Krispy Kreme finally opened their first Galway City dessert store on 14 March 2023 - just in time for the busy-ness of St Patrick's Day.
With a bright green shopfront that's impossible to miss, they're located in William Street (ie the bit of road just above Shop Street). The shop they're in used to be part of A Hartmann's Jewellers, and is next door to Skechers shoes, just up from Treasure Chest and across from the main doors of Brown Thomas and the statue of the Two Oscars.
Products include donuts (or is that doughnuts) - with both original glaze all sorts of sweeet toppings and decorations. And possibly waffle stacks. Coffee, perhaps. And more that we'll know about soon.
Like all of their own-branded stores, this shop doesn't accept cash: payment is by contactless or chip-and-pin cards only.
